AskMirror Privacy Policy
AskMirror ("we", "us", or "the app") is an AI-assisted reflection tool for adults. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account or anonymous identifiers, locale, and authentication information needed to operate your account.
- Questions, dreams, context, and other text you choose to submit, together with the generated reflection.
- Google Play purchase and subscription identifiers used to verify access. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Safety reports, request identifiers, and limited technical logs used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use information to provide AI-generated reflections, verify subscriptions and usage allowances, maintain safety, prevent misuse, troubleshoot failures, and comply with applicable law. AskMirror does not sell personal information and does not use submitted questions for advertising.
AI processing and service providers
Submitted text is sent to OpenAI to generate a response and perform safety processing. Our backend and encrypted database are hosted using Railway infrastructure. These providers process data only to provide their services to AskMirror, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
Storage and security
Questions and responses stored by AskMirror are encrypted. We avoid placing submitted question text in application logs or analytics. We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Your choices and account deletion
You can request deletion from the app under Settings > Account & Privacy > Delete Account, or follow the instructions on our account deletion page. Account deletion removes or de-identifies associated content, subject to limited security, transaction, and legal records we must retain. Deleting an AskMirror account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately in Google Play.
Children
AskMirror is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Important limitation
AskMirror provides reflective, informational content. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency advice. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the current version at this address and update the effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to susakosan3@gmail.com.
